Meet Gianni Braga, a Salesforce Developer in our LatAm office, and one of our newest team members. My career began almost three years ago when I started working with Salesforce from scratch. After two years of mastering the platform, I felt ready to step out of my comfort zone, learn new skills, and improve my English—leading me to Aquiva Labs.

At Aquiva, I found the perfect balance: a chance to apply my Salesforce experience while tackling new challenges like working with packages for the first time. On my second day, I dove into resolving a complex bug, and with the team’s support and guidance, I quickly adapted. The collaborative environment and opportunities for growth made it clear I was in the right place.

One of my most memorable experiences was solving a challenging bug when I joined Aquiva. Unlike developing something new, where you can plan your next steps and know what to do, debugging is unpredictable – you don’t know what’s causing the issue until you dig deeper. You have to find the root cause and test possible solutions. While it was tough to estimate the time it would take, the sense of achievement after solving it, especially with the team’s support, was incredibly rewarding.

To me, being focused on results means completing a task and delivering a high-quality outcome that benefits the client. It’s about balancing efficiency with excellence.

When I worked on fixing a challenging bug, I reached out to developers with prior experience on the project. This collaborative approach saved time and ensured a better understanding of the issue. Although the resolution took longer than I initially hoped, it guaranteed a high-quality solution. That’s what being truly results-focused means to me.

My advice for adopting a “Focused on Results” mindset is straightforward: prioritize the outcome over the process. One of the most effective ways to do this is by leveraging the collective knowledge of your team—don’t hesitate to ask for help when you need it. While solving problems on your own might seem quicker, reaching out to colleagues with more experience can save time and lead to better solutions. Often, someone else has already encountered the same challenge and can offer valuable insights. By collaborating and seeking input, you not only speed up the process but also ensure you’re delivering the best possible result.

I am a big fan of sports—whether it’s hitting the gym or playing volleyball. I love staying active! I also enjoy reading, as it helps me unwind and explore new ideas.

I highly recommend “The Shining” by Stephen King. It’s not just a great standalone story but also part of a larger universe that connects many of his books. If you’re new to his work and want to dive into this world, The Shining is the perfect place to start—it pulls you in quickly and keeps you hooked!

The most important lesson I’ve learned at Aquiva Labs is that teamwork and collaboration are essential. From day one, I was amazed by how willing everyone was to help, even though I didn’t know anyone yet. Having that support made all the difference, and it truly showed me the power of working together to achieve great results.
