From AI Pilot to Production Reality
Building an AI proof-of-concept is the easy part. Most initiatives stall when it's time to run those solutions on real data, under security, compliance, and operational constraints. The FDE model exists to close that gap.

Salesforce has established the Approved Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) Partner Network, comprising select partners dedicated to transitioning AI solutions from experimental phases into reliable production deployments. Aquiva Labs has been selected as a founding member.
The core challenge
Organizations frequently encounter the same barrier: developing an AI proof-of-concept is relatively straightforward, but scaling those solutions to operate dependably with real data — under security, compliance, and operational constraints — is substantially harder. Most initiatives stall at this juncture.
The FDE approach
The FDE model bridges this gap through hands-on engineering integrated directly into customer environments rather than concluding at strategy or prototype stages. Core activities include:
- Connecting agents to disconnected systems
- Structuring data for practical use
- Establishing operational controls for production environments
What customers get
- A faster path from idea to production
- Solutions engineered for complex, regulated contexts
- Less rework between pilot and full-scale deployment
- Greater confidence in sustainable adoption
Why this matters
This partnership matches the challenges we see most often. Organizations rarely struggle to generate ideas — they struggle to implement them across fragmented systems, data sources, and workflows. Solutions without proper foundational architecture often fail to scale beyond the demo.
The broader shift is clear: success now centers on production-ready solutions delivering measurable business outcomes, not experimental capabilities.
Next steps
We're happy to discuss your pilot-to-production transition and run readiness assessments that identify and mitigate early-stage risks before they become migration blockers.
